Thank you to our donors "My dream for a new house came true because of you" Your generosity has touched the lives of more people than you could imagine. Besides giving them protection from the weather, a new home brings security and a sense of hope — hope knowing that someone that they've never met cares about them in a very personal way. We at FFP humbly thank you for your generosity and the concern you gave to the poorest of the poor. Welcome to 2009 Operation StarfishSometimes helping the poor can seem overwhelming. There’s so much need, and it often seems like one person could hardly make a difference. But we also know that when we work together in collective Christian charity, amazing things can happen. Whether we’re saving small amounts of money to feed hungry children, or working toward raising enough funds to build a home for a destitute family, every little bit helps. We can truly make a difference in the lives of our poorest brothers and sisters. We’d like to share with you a simple and completely free way for your church, school or organization to rejuvenate the spirit of compassionate giving for those in great need. Through our Operation Starfish program, members of your group can help save “one child at a time,” and in doing so, draw closer to Christ. Operation Starfish is a simple program that is designed to let families more fully engage in the sacrificial spirit of Lent by giving participants both the opportunity for spiritual reflection and the chance to make daily sacrifices that benefit those who are suffering. This Web site is an additional and complimentary tool for groups that participate in our popular Operation Starfish program, which encourages families to put 50 cents or more each day into their Operation Starfish collection box to help the poor. ![]() The site will allow you to reach family, friends, and colleagues beyond your neighborhood borders and encourage both their support and their participation, if desired. Here you can register as an individual or a team and set up your own fundraising page and emails. Instructions to use this site are available as downloads in the menu bar to the left.
