We can save lives
God has given me so many blessing that if I were to barely begin to scratch the surface of the infinite list, I could go on for centuries. But how do we repay someone who needs absolutely nothing? To me the answer is quite simple. By helping those who need everything. God has called us to preach his word and to help our neighbors. By helping the poor we are assisting our less fortunate brothers and sisters. I believe we all deserve a chance at life, and by raising funds for the underprivileged, God is using us to give them that opportunity.
Two years ago I started something called the "Hatian Relief Project" along with Coral Reef Senior High and a few other schools as well as the surrounding neighborhood. The project was a success and we raised over a ton of food and about $3814.11. Knowning that my peers and I could make a difference, I am now committed to saving as many lives as possible.
